HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted November 22, 2017 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted November 22, 2017 As we are preparing to celebrate Thanksgiving Day in the US, I am thinking about all of the things I am thankful for in my life. My Med El CIs are high on my list. Thank you Med El for bringing hearing back into my life. I am thankful my CIs allow me to.... -join in family game nights and keep up with all of the teasing and jokes -enjoy music and play the piano again -converse in groups without having to have someone recap everything afterwards so I am caught up -converse from different rooms and different levels in our home -hear students, co-workers, etc easily at work -listen to audiobooks, podcasts, radios -enjoy Broadway musicals and plays as well as live music events -hear in the ocean! Definitely a favorite! -enjoy the sounds of nature What are you thankful for? Megan L., Jewel and Cara Mia

HearPeers Heroes Kara of Canada Posted November 24, 2017 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted November 24, 2017 Well I’m Canadian but I’m thankful for my CI as well. I can talk on the phone, listen to music, and converse better with family in any situation. Also I’m extremely thankfiul for my bionic friends or CI-borgs that have helped me and those who I can help in return.
