Roy
As presented in the December 3 HearPeers video call, here are the Amazon links for the cable and adaptor that provide a more robust connection between an iPhone and AudioLink: Cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B3RGXDTN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Adaptor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FPRADYK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There are quite a few similar cables (and you might prefer a shorter one), but I've only found one adaptor that didn't also have a cord. Since iPhones are moving to USB-C connectors, I'll probably be looking for new parts whenever I replace my current iPhone 13. (Not soon, I hope!) HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted December 3, 2023 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted December 3, 2023 Thanks @Roy! My hope is Med-El’s next processors have built in receivers that work with the new BTLE/Auracast protocols coming out and then our connectivity options will expand greatly! Roy
As a follow-up, I did a quick check for USB-C to 2.5mm cables. This popped right up: https://www.amazon.com/MOSWAG-Headphone-Extension-QuietComfort-Headphones/dp/B0BY3ZTZJJ/ref=sr_1_13?crid=2TFK1M0RHHID5&keywords=lightning%2Bto%2B2.5mm%2Bcord&qid=1701622531&s=electronics&sprefix=lightning%2Bto%2B2.5mm%2Bcord%2Celectronics%2C98&sr=1-13&th=1 So if you already have a phone or other device with USB-C output, this should connect directly to the AudioLink. It's intended for Bose headphones, but has the appropriate 3-contact (not 4-contact) jack. Edited December 3, 2023 by Roy Added info.
