KevinO
I am about three weeks out from Activation. I've had one "tuning" session and have another scheduled in a week. Currently, when I hear voices, they are in a monotone, without the normal rising and lowering of voice pitches that I expect. Does this get better with time? Does it require a tuning or brain relearning process? Thanks. Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/19868-monotone-voices/ Share on other sites
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted January 12 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted January 12 @KevinO congratulations on activation! Yes very normal and the quality of voices (including all of their natural components) will come in time. It requires both additional MAPping and time for our brains to learn to use this new auditory input. Enjoy your journey. HearPeers Heroes Kylie Posted January 13 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted January 13 Hi @KevinO Yep absolutely normal at this stage! It will gradually and steadily improve and gain all the nuances. Just keep up the listening practise so your brain has every opportunity to learn and adjust.
