jcech344
Is there a preferred orientation for wearing rondo 3? The magnet end is the thinner end, but I have tried it with the magnet down and it seems to work just as well. My reason for considering this is because my implant is relatively close to my ear and I find I need to be careful putting on glasses to avoid knocking it off or rubbing against the rondo 3 which will make a noise. With Sonnet its even worse since the coil and the processor almost touch. HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted February 27 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted February 27 I believe Med-El says to orientate the Rondo mics at the 12:00 position Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/20368-rondo-3-orientation/#findComment-76896 Share on other sites
Members Tim
I also wear the clothes clip on my Rondo 3 all of the time. That makes the orientation even more clear and consistent. Perhaps that would get in the way even more though with your positioning. Perhaps there is an adjustment to the arm of the glasses that might interfere less or you can try out new frames. Keep experimenting, we all find the little things that make stuff work better in our situations.
