HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted June 25, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted June 25, 2018 @Dave in Pittsburgh The DL-coil cover comes off. Then you can see the fish tail looking end of the magnet is marked with either triangle (for internal Synchrony) or circle (for everything else) symbols. Count the number of symbols to know your magnet strength. Then look at the side the magnet is locked into (either + or -). Synchrony internals use these magnet strength options with DL-coils: 1- 1+ 2- 2+ 3- 3+ 4- 4+ 5+ (must be in the + position) Med-El has videos on you tube to show how to remove the DL-coil covers.
