@Mary Beth

What exactly is the Maestro 7 supposed to do?

Looks like it's the system software.  @Mary Beth does that mean the software that drives the programming and mapping, or something internal to Rondo2?

Rondo 2 tech info says it is programmed using Maestro 7.  Maestro 7 also has other cool features for our audiologists.  I do not know which features of Maestro 7 have been approved for use in the US.

@Kara of Canada

Will people in Canada whose surgeons select Med-El for them get to choose Sonnet or Rondo 2?  How does processor selection work in Canada?

We get to pick one. Either Rondo or Sonnet. Otherwise we pay out of pocket. I have heard they will give a discount for a second processor if purchased within a year. I didn’t know that.
