HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted September 26, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted September 26, 2018 @Julesrdh There are text based supports for the hearing impaired at movie theaters. Some movie theaters have individual receivers (many times infra red receivers) for hearing impaired customers. Some of those receivers allow you to plug in a neckloop or headset. Technically, you could plug in a Roger Pen. Whether this will sound good, remains to be seen. HearPeers Heroes Jdashiell Posted September 30, 2018 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted September 30, 2018 If you are in the US, all Regal theatres carry the Sony caption visors. The captions appear at the bottom of your eyesight so you can read what a character is saying while looking at them. The major chains carry caption device that sits in a cup holder and displays 3 lines of text. You switch from the screen to the caption display. there is an call Captionfish that locates all theaters near you and what type of device they offer. www.captionfish.com Jewel 1 Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/3855-movie-theater/#findComment-24172 Share on other sites
