Update on using captions with video meetings after 8 weeks of use

My captioning recommendations:

Google Meet is free. Just set up a gmail account.  Works on all devices.  Anyone can turn on captions.  Captions are labeled by speaker’s name.  Downside is poor video quality.

Zoom using InnoCaption+ to phone in audio (see link below).  This option only applies to people in the US due to how InnoCaption is funded.

TEAMS - some versions have free captions, some don’t.

When the above don’t work...set up video to play out of speakers.  Use a second device to run a free speech to text app (LiveTranscribe on Android or Otter.ai on iPhone).

Remember, it can be very helpful to use the Artone BT neckloop during video meetings for improved audio and true hands free meeting.
