Guest Tony Vernucci
Judith, There can be swelling under the eyes and on the same side of the face your surgery was performed. If you feel it is excessive and you are in pain, please contact and inform your surgeon. HearPeers Heroes Ivana Marinac Posted September 20, 2014 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted September 20, 2014 I had my ci surgery yesterday and now the side of my face that had the surgery on looks like I have been in a boxing match! Totally understandable - each surgery is, in core, trauma for tissue which reacts tipically as inflammation but without infection which should be treated with anyibiotics. If it is to excessive it can be treated by some drugs. Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/608-facial-swelling/#findComment-3401 Share on other sites
dclay66490
I was bilaterally iimplanted in 2009. I looked like I had been beaten up. I was black and blue across the face and eyes. But it was worth it!! Quote Link to comment https://forum.hearpeers.com/topic/608-facial-swelling/#findComment-3404 Share on other sites
