card
I have had the Ponto bone conduction device working successfully for seven years. I lost the device somehow in the last month and cannot find it anywhere. I had no problem whatsoever with the Ponto in that time and would gladly use it again if it can be replaced. My hearing doctor here in Greensboro, NC has moved his offices to another city and no longer supports the Ponto. I would very much like information as to how I can go about getting a new Ponto to fit on my existing right side bone implant. My questions are: 1) Will medicare pay for the replacement after seven years? And, 2) Can anyone point me to a local doctor that supports the Ponto near me? I would expect such an office would be able to adjust the device when needed. I live in Greensboro, North Carolina. Any help would be much appreciated
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted November 16, 2020 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted November 16, 2020 @card I’m sorry to hear of your troubles. This forum is hosted by the Med-El brand. You will probably want to contact the company that makes Ponto... Oticon . Wishing you the best.
