bilateral impants

Hi Madeline

I am bilateral implanted but I got them done at the same time so may not be able to answer your questions.  I am very glad that I got both done because as a teacher I need two to do my job effectively.  It is important to realise that you need to treat each ear differently (ie they may 'respond' differently).  My left ear has always been better than my right ear.  However, my right ear is catching up. All the best for your second implant.

Madeline,

How are you feeling?

If you have Dr. Antonelli as your surgeon you are in great hands.

He did my left ear five years ago. I have talked to him about going bilateral but have not pursued it.

Madeline

I am also bilateral.

How did the surgery go? How was the activation. You have had them a little while now. How are things progressing?
