Linda
I have an iPhone XR. Should I be able to connect the AudioLink and my Sonnet2 to the AudioKey2 app at the same time?
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted April 17, 2021 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted April 17, 2021 @Linda Sonnet 2 connects to the AudioKey 2 app directly. It does not need to go through AudioLink to connect to the AudioKey 2 app. We choose BT connection in AudioKey 2 for Sonnet 2. Sonnet 2 pairs with AudioLink without using the AudioKey 2 app. And AudioLink pairs directly with iPhones without using the AudioKey 2 app. Does this help? Linda
So I can’t use the AudioKey2 to control volume etc. on my Sonnet2 while streaming AudioLink? I use the fine tuner echo, but really don’t like it.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted April 17, 2021 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted April 17, 2021 @Linda I believe you may be able to continue to use AudioKey 2 to alter volume on your processor when streaming from AudioLink. But Med-El does not recommend it. It seems we are to change streamed audio from AudioLink by using the sound source volume or the AudioLink volume via its buttons.
