Hello!

I have a 2 years old boy. Nowadays he is not doing martial arts but I would love that he joins my WingTsun classes when he turns 5 years old.

Do you recommend any type of helmets to wear with the CI opus 2?

Thanks and best wishes!

Javi

Good morning.

There are a couple ways you can approach it. I never had an issue with wearing the helmet, at least the ones we used as they were soft and had no problem fitting around my hearing aid at the time.

It also helped keep it from flying off.

Another action is to talk to your instructor about the situation so whenever he spars, he can go with no helmet and there will be no kicks to the head.

I would sometimes take them off if it was extremely hot. He was very good about looking my direction when calling out a move or form to do

Forgot to tell you Javi. I have a blackbelt in Taekwondo, a black belt in Tang soo do and a purple belt in haidong Gumdo. The first 2 are hard styles. Haidong is considered a soft style like yours. All Korean
