Cecil Renfield
I've had my Cochlear Implant for eight months and so far, so good. It's a slow process but I feel it improving, and that's ok too. I have a Nuclear 7 device hanging from my right side ear, my left ear hearing aid gives support to it but it's been troublesome. I'm 100 years old! Unfortunately, unable to claim uniqueness as the oldest implant 'victim' in Australia but I'm getting there! I served in Allied Forces, as a volunteer, in WWII. Rachael
Hi Cecil. 100 years old, and served in WWII! You'd be a very interesting dinner guest. 🙂 Best of luck with your hearing journey. Myself, I was implanted last month. Still trying to get the hang of everything.
