We're gathered all around the world here, so I thought this could be pretty interesting topic.

Med-EL put some tips which can be applied to the various type of implantees: CI, BB or VSB...

We should have in mind that only constant learning keep us fresh and alive:

:P we do not stop playing because we age, we age - because we stop playing!  ;)  :P

What timing you have , Ivana. I am reading a book about neuroplasticity of our brains called, The Brain That Changes Itself. I'm learning a lot. One thing that hit home was the need for the brain to always be learning something new. So ask yourself when the last time was that you learned something completely new. The author states that the best thing (from a neuroplasticity point of view) to learn as we age is a new language!

Oh, I was just solving Lumosity tests today: https://www.lumosity.com/

Interesting training games...:) This just to sweet little bit over-scientific field of neuroplasticity which is also on my repertoire of learning for today...:)

I agree - this make a really dramatic change when you find yourself that you think in foreign language as it is your own. - Whooooauuu... streams through your mind....:)

Adam,

Since I completely relied on an online free translation, I sure hope it says what I think it says!

Time to move on - or evolve as the definition of neuroplasticity is :D

Well, a grammar is pretty similar in all three languages. ;):P

Feliz Navidad amigos.

I'm currently on the road in Mexico and am heading further south next week.

I did a short Spanish course before I left home but there's no substitute to being dropped in the deep end. I'm understanding more than I can speak which I think says a lot about the ability of my processor.

Hasta pronto!

Matt.
