and what can i say?

well lets say bearing in mind ive been deaf since i was 4 and half years old, i had terrible hearing through my childhood (from what i can remember)

but now its a different world. i can now have conversations without the use of Lipreading, phone use is all good i can get around 85-90% of phone conversations correct.

trust me there are times now i wish i didnt have to listen to some of the stuff people come out with haha. but on the flip side people still repeat their words to me then suddenly look at me and go "sorry i keep forgetting that your not deaf anymore" fact is i actually am still deaf, im just using my implant to its full potential (i think)

now on the music side of life i have something amazing to share with people.... im well aware there are hearing people on this forum so i ask that u PLEASE take a minute to listen to my upload, this song was written by me and it was recorded by me in my room and i produced it using my implant.... (i used to write lyrics back in the day, but im now recording things myself and hope this inspires a lot of people) it might not be awhat a lot of people are into but ive always been into Hip-Hop etc so im sharing with you my song i recorded. bare in mind my hearing is NOT perfect but its good enough for me and thats all that matters if u have any questions feel free to inbox me or u can find me on facebook my name on it is Kingy init :-)

Hey! you're welcome.

the person you hear in that recording is in fact me :-)

ive never been able to position microphones and tweak music to studio kind of standards..

i decided to really test out my medel implant and give it a go. i set everything up without any help whatsoever and i produced this :-)

will keep people updated on my progress though :-)

I'll have to wait until after I get my own CI before I can appreciate your music but I just want to say: Congratulations on your wonderful hearing!

And thanks for sharing; it gives the rest of us so much encouragement.
