I'm using the optical cable with my desktop; I have also used the 3.5mm with my laptop (so as not to have to pull my desktop away from the wall). Though I used the AudioLink this past weekend to stream some YouTube (Linus TechTips WAN Show) when I was cleaning the kitchen and making breakfast since I wasn't wearing my hearing aid at the time.
