HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted July 27, 2021 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted July 27, 2021 When is the last time you changed your Sonnet/Sonnet2 mic covers? I changed mine today. Dennisjbr
Dennisjbr
Do you notice any difference? How long has it been since you changed yours?
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted July 28, 2021 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted July 28, 2021 Yes. I do notice a difference when I change the mic covers. I change them every 2 months. Quite odd that it needs to be so often since I do not use hair products… nor live in a hot, humid climate…. nor spend time exposed to dust/sand. Dave in Pittsburgh
I too change Sonnets mic covers every 2 months especially during spring and summer as I’m outside more. I would like to hear from Rondo2 /Rondo3 users as to hoe often they change filters Mary Beth
David
I change my Sonnet microphone covers and clean the battery frame brass conductor strips using cotton swabs with alcohol every two months. Mary Beth

Dave in Pittsburgh
Hello Dave I’ve never thought of cleaning the brass contact when I change the mic covers. Thanks
David
@Dave in PittsburghI'm pretty sure it was included in the periodic maintenance schedule of the Sonnet instruction manual.
