Difference when wearing one Rondo3 device vs wearing two Rondo3 devices

Dear all, hope you are doing well. I am writing to ask for your insights. My son Felix was implanted bilaterally when he was 14-month old. Now Felix is 22-month old and he wears his two Rondo3 during all his waking hours. One thing I am curious about is: What is the difference between wearing one Rondo3 device vs wearing two Rondo3 devices? Does wearing two devices increase the clarity and sound quality of the speech? Could you please share your experience with me? Thank you!

Wearing 2 CIs is so much better for me than wearing one.

1) listening is easier

2) listening in noise is easier

3) knowing where sounds come from is impossible without 2 sides

4) music- especially pitch- is much better

 

I am so thankful that I have 2 CIs.
