R.J. Posted February 18, 2022 Report Share Posted February 18, 2022 Hey Family! I'm new here! After wearing hearing aids for over 30 years I finally decided to get the implant! I had my surgery on New Year's Eve and got my processor on January 26. So far I don't regret it! I think I'm used to all of the fancy gadgets, as I am tech savvy 😉 (I'm in I.T. by the way). Getting used to the new sounds though. Some sounds are a tad distorted or muffled. Definitely louder than the HAs, so that's a plus! Looking forward to meeting every one, especially Mary Beth, who seems to be pretty popular here LOL.
