What a month this has been with learning, experimenting, and getting much more social again. I have auto immune inner ear disease, and the meds just stopped working last August. Downhill from there until the CI was the best, and probably only, sensible option. What a relief. I am thrilled. I have so many questions and still a way to go to using everything. My right ear was activated in March 2015 and my left ear was activated in November 2015. I have Sonnets and Rondos. I love my CIs too. Glad to be here too. OMG! I had an autoimmune inner ear disease too! My meds only worked for a week and it went bad from there. I was told a CI was the only option as well. I had the worst sounds/tinnitus in my head before I got activated too. I'm happy to answer whatever questions you might have! I have been activated now for about a month and a half.
