HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted January 23, 2021 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted January 23, 2021 @Mario That is my understanding of AudioStream. Bilateral CI users need 2 AudioStream covers and will hear in stereo.

Lynda
@MED-EL Moderator Could you please confirm whether AudioKey 2 will work with a Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus? The website indicates that AudioStream will work with both Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9+. Under the AudioKey 2 the website lists the Galaxy S9 but not the S9+. I would like to find a phone that will work with all the Med El accessories/connectivity options. Many thanks. Best regards, Technology Challenged AudioKey 2 AudioStream ? Google Pixel 3 XL ? Hi @Linda, please excuse my late reply, I have now heard back from our AudioKey 2 experts. Unfortunately I cannot confirm that the Galaxy S9+ will work with AudioKey 2 because this specific model has not been tested by us. It might be technically possible, but we cannot give confirmation from our side. We'd therefore recommend to choose a newer model from the Samsung Galaxy series where we can confirm the compatibility with AudioStream and AudioKey 2, e.g. a model from the Samsung Galaxy S10 series. Hope that helps you make a decision! Kind regards, Verena Mary Beth
Lynda
@MED-EL ModeratorThank you Verena. As I use my phone for texting (not speaking), do not have a data plan, and no access to wi-fi all summer, I was hoping to buy a refurbished phone (not the newest model). Roy K.
If you have bilateral Sonnet 2s, are there any technical issues with using AudioStream for only 1 of them? Thanks.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted March 15, 2021 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted March 15, 2021 @Roy K. Nope. Just use AudioKey2 to set up the one AudioStream. In your phone settings, you may want to select monaural audio output.
