DarlaHS
I had bilateral cochlear implant surgery in August 2018. I continue to experience pain on both sides of my head. Sometimes I have to remove my processors as the sound is just overwhelming. I have talked to both my surgeon and audiologist. They tell me this is normal but I want to know if anyone else experiences this and what have you done. I am in the process of learning to sign in hopes of giving my ears a rest some days. HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted June 1, 2021 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted June 1, 2021 @DarlaHS That is not normal in my experience. Wearing our CIs should not be painful. Let’s tag @MED-EL Moderator so they can put you in touch with your Med-El reps. DarlaHS
