Tina Childress is an educational audiologist who is a late deafened bilateral CI user.  She created an extensive list of apps.  She updated this list in July 2017 I believe.  Here is a link....

I had this in my offline pages. Definitely worth a follow up

@pdk

I purchased a subscription to LACE based on recommendations from some large CI centers in the US at a workshop.  I went through the entire program.  I do not recommend it.

At this time, I am not recommending programs that have a fee except for Auralia Pitch Comparison ($2 fee) for musical pitch training.

There are some up and coming programs that do have fees that seem promising.  Time will tell.

It is great that there are so many options.

However, this also makes it quite confusing for some new CI users, especially people who are not comfortable with apps etc.

It is my hope that Med-El will offer printed rehab sheets for adults to help guide new adult CI users.  This journey can be overwhelming.  In the US, most adults have to figure out their rehab independently.  I think the guidance and rehab binder @Vera received in the Med-El video series is brilliant.  Every adult CI user deserves guidance like that.

@pdk

Have you found any rehab apps/programs that charge a fee to be worth paying?

No I don't believe in paying for this type of help. I find it hard to accept the cost of medical things and worst of all it's taxed as well.

I have been asked to present a talk on using computers to help with training. If I can figure out how to do that from a USB I'll be happy to put it somewhere on the web. I have finished the basic android app I want to distribute. I'll be using source forge and setup something there. Still a big learning curve to go through. Have to find out how it will work on different phones amongst other things.
