HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted March 18, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted March 18, 2019 I am a huge fan of aural rehab as many of you know. It helped me take my brain from static/beeps to awesome listening. We have shared many apps and online sites here in our rehab topic. It is also important to practice listening with live voices. Here is a sequence of sheets to use with a family member/friend. I trained with these sheets too. Enjoy! Kylie, Moira and Valentin

HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted March 31, 2019 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted March 31, 2019 @Vinod Look at the top of this topic. Level A sheets are similar to level 1 in the CLIX app. Have fun training your brain!
Vinod
Mary, Appreciate your prompt reply. The sheets you sent are much easier to follow rather than The CLIX app on Ipad. There is too much noise on Clix. Even my wife could not understand a word. May be we are not doing something right we don't know. Are there some more sheets to practice or just keep on repeating these often. Vinod
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted March 31, 2019 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted March 31, 2019 @Vinod This set of practice sheets goes from level A to level G. I posted them all. Make sure you did not accidentally select NOISE in AB CLIX. It should be quiet. Top row only says the targeted word Second row says CLICK ON THE WORD ____ Third row says THE WORD _____ is the one to choose Fourth row says CLICK ON THE WORD ____ and ____

HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted April 29, 2019 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted April 29, 2019 @JohnL John , scroll up and check out these rehab sheets. I started with level A and moved up when I was successful. They helped me. Level A does not require us to recognize the actual words. Good luck. I hope this helps. debpap
I do wish, though, that you didn't need a person to practice with, I am by myself most of the time.
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted September 29, 2020 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted September 29, 2020 @debpap There used to be a free iPad app called CLIX which worked on the same levels. It was removed from the App Store awhile back. I will tag you in some website and app rehab links
Mrs T7
Thank you Mary. I will have my family help me with these. It's my kids that I have a heck of a time understanding/hearing them. They will get a kick out of this due to helping mom out and not mom trying to help them. Mary Beth

2monkeys
We've been using Angel Sounds on a PC for my daughter with SSD. Doesn't seem so intuitive to use but once I figured it out it's great. I listen along just so I can see how she is doing, but one can do the exercises alone. There are lots of levels. Moira
Hi Mary Beth: I just started printing out these sheets and find there are 18 copies for each page. I'm wondering if I should just print one of each page? Thanks! Moira
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted November 9, 2021 Author HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted November 9, 2021 @Moira I posted them here as photos. On my iPhone if I tap on one of the pics and then select print, it shows printing the entire HP thread. I can select only the pages with the exercises and then hit print. If you do not have that option, just take a screenshot after you open a photo and then print. One copy works great sitting next to each other or at a table. Two copies work better across the room. Moira
Thanks: I didn't think I needed to print up 18 copies. I'll post on here how it goes. Thank you so much for these resources. Moira Mary Beth
