Lillian Meeds
I am hearing the same ticking noise with my Rondo 2 when in the "MT" or "T" mode as other comments I have read. Med el has replaced my processor and the magnet but it didn't solve the problem. I would be interested to know if other people are having the same problem and more importantly, have you been able to solve the situation. Thank You, Lillian
HearPeers Heroes Mary Beth Posted December 9, 2019 HearPeers Heroes Report Share Posted December 9, 2019 @Lillian Meeds Yes! There is a fix! @Joan had her Rondo 2 fixed I think right now the fix is for our audiologists to turn off the Rondo 2’s built in DL-coil extras like auto off and blinking light when off our head. @MED-EL Moderator I am sure you can explain this better! You were activated 3 months ago and use Rondo 2? So much changes in those early months. Practicing aural rehab helped me a lot! Are you in touch with Med-El representatives where you live? They may be able to offer some guidance. I will tag @MED-EL Moderator in case you need contact information. I hope you stay here and tell us about your journey. Wishing you the best! Thank You, Lillian @Lillian Meeds @Mary Beth, thanks for your questions! Our products experts are aware of this issue that sometimes happens with RONDO 2. If you experience the ticking noise, they recommend you get in touch with your audiologist. They should be able to fix it by adjusting some of the settings of the audio processor.
